In this vital role you will serve as a member of Amgen’s Pivotal Synthetic Drug Product development team, learning and providing hands-on formulation and process expertise during the development of clinical and commercial formulations for synthetic oral and parental dosage forms.
Interface within the Drug Product Technologies Department as a team member to support programs and initiatives.
Contribute to the completion of experimentation design and execution and assist in analysis and interpretation of data.
Organize and communicate information within the team to help lead to the best possible formulation and processes.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree OR
Associate’s degree and 2 years of Process development experience OR
High school diploma / GED and 4 years of Process development experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical or Pharmaceutical Engineering, Chemistry or Life Sciences other related field.
Strong problem-solving skills to apply formulation and characterization of parenteral and oral synthetic molecules
Ability to design, execute, and interpret experimental results
Basic understanding of physical/chemical stability of synthetic molecules and how process impacts product quality.
Success working with diverse team members in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
Motivated self-starter with excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
