Process Control Engineer

Seeking a Process Control Engineer for a direct hire opportunity with our client, a global leader in food processing equipment manufacturing and supply.
This position is based in Flowermound, TX and offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental and 401k!  
In this role you'll spearhead the development of Model Predictive Control processes for the Food and Snack Industry, design PLC controls for processing equipment, oversee MPC solutions, and stay abreast of industry trends
Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of Model Predictive Control (MPC) processes tailored for the Food and Snack Industry.
• Design PLC controls for food processing, product handling, and packaging equipment.
• Oversee partner activities related to MPC solutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in MPC techniques.
• Expect to travel approximately 35% of the time.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proficient in Model Predictive Control methodologies.
• Knowledgeable in Temperature and Fluid Dynamics.
• Experienced in electrical engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to program PLC systems from scratch (RedLion, Allen Bradley & Siemens).
• Familiarity with SCADA or MES systems is preferred

Salary is between $80,000 to $115,00 per year (based on experience)
