Job Overview:
We are seeking a Shop Assistant to join our team at our retail store in
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with their inquiries and provide product recommendations
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process customer transactions accurately
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash register balances
- Maintain a clean and organized shop environment
- Stock shelves and ensure products are displayed attractively
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and restocking merchandise
- Answer phone calls and provide information or direct calls as necessary
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally
Experience:
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred but not required
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures is beneficial
- Strong phone etiquette skills
- Ability to demonstrate products effectively
- Basic technical sales knowledge is advantageous
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain shop cleanliness and stock levels
