We have an immediate opening for a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to support our Inpatient Therapy Services.
BASIC FUNCTION:
- To treat individuals with neurological and orthopedic deficits under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
DUTIES
- Treats patients with dx of orthopedic, stroke, brain or spinal cord injuries
- Completes daily/weekly documentation
- Attends team conference
- Serves on interdisciplinary team
- Completes daily FIM scores
- The assistant has the authority to perform patient-care related activities and decision making authority to adjust treatment plans by consulting with a registered Physical Therapist
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE
- Associate applied science degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Must have current PTA license
- One year of related clinical experience is preferred
