Canworks has brought new technology to Southern California that will allow us to digitally print directly onto aluminum cans. This gives breweries and other beverage companies the ability to purchase the highest quality printed cans on the market in much smaller quantities, with shorter lead times, and eliminate all single-use plastic shrink sleeves and labels. In short, we are going to print the most amazing aluminum can artwork and get rid of those pesky plastics while doing so. What will you do?
- Learn how to operate and troubleshoot state-of-the-art digital printing technology
- Work alongside the sales, graphic design and logistics teams to communicate any updates, changes or issues
- Help with outgoing logistics
- Maintain detailed records via production management software
- Design and implement processes and systems to enable Canworks to scale rapidly
Be prepared to demonstrate and/or provide:
- 5+ years of work experience (does not have to all be in Printing)
- Past mechanical experience preferred
- Experience operating digital printers preferred
- References from prior employers
Understand:
- We are a startup, this will be fast-paced hard work but very rewarding
- Warehouse where the printer is located may be hot/cold and noisy
- This role will require heavy lifting up to 75lbs
- Previous brewing, canning, and/or printing experience is a plus, but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
