Print Operations Manager

Cheree Berry Paper & Design is looking for a Print Operations Manager to join our team!  

We are a team of creatives that approaches all aspects of the design process with enthusiasm, passion and meticulous care. Founded in 2006, primarily as a custom stationery company, we have evolved into an award-winning graphic design firm sought after for our playful, yet polished, sensibility. Our team includes designers, illustrators, project managers and a full production staff. 

How you’ll spend your days:

As our Print Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the in-house Print Operations team as they execute for a range of client projects. The primary function of this role is to manage print timelines and our Print Operations team members to ensure all client engagements are facilitated successfully, on-time, on-quality, and on-budget. This role will manage our Print Production Artists and Digital Printer Operator, as well as collaborate with our print vendors.

Our ideal candidate:

• An Experienced Design Pro: You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent work experience. You are fluent in Adobe Creative Suite and have 2 to 5 years of experience in a print production role, agency experience is a plus.
• A Print Expert: You have in-depth knowledge and understanding of multiple facets of the printing and graphics industry, including pre-press, digital printing, variable data printing, wide format printing and fulfillment.
• A Thoughtful Leader: You have 2 or more years of experience leading a team, managing their performance, assigning and guiding their work. You understand how to resource tasks to assure that client projects with multiple components and deliverables are completed successfully, on-time, on-quality, and on-budget.

• A Skilled Communicator: You know how to translate complex information to ensure understanding and collaboration.

• A Problem Solver: Challenges are going to happen, and you are prepared for anything thrown your way. You have a Plan A, Plan B, Plan C and beyond. You like to move fast, focus on process, and learn along the way.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this role is $45,000-60,000 per year, depending on your experience. We offer a great benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance, a 401k with match, short-term disability insurance, paid company holidays, paid time off, and paid sick days.

A couple of our favorite projects include designing wedding invitations for Chelsea Clinton and Jennifer Gates. 

Prior to founding CBP, Cheree Berry was an Associate Art Director at Kate Spade New York where she designed the brand's wedding stationery album, a partnership with Crane & Co.
