Summary:
The Print & Mail Account Manager is responsible for planning, organizing and managing printing and mailing projects from start to finish. This includes all customer communications and identifying goals, timelines, and resources necessary to successfully complete the project. The Print & Mail Account Manager works closely with the RES production team to ensure the project stays on track, manages customer expectations, and problem-solves any issues that may arise during the process.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers to determine project requirements (scope, specifications, deadlines, etc.)
- Communicate with production for internal planning (paper, schedule, staffing, etc.)
- Support other team members and keep connected through communication
- Work independently keeping projects on track and on schedule throughout the process
- Stay highly organized and maintain customer and production communication at all times
- Create and maintain all documentation and record-keeping related to the project
- Assemble final costs and create invoice once the job is completed
Key Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED or higher
- Minimum two years’ experience at a print/mail facility and familiarity with processes, equipment, etc.
- Minimum two years’ experience in customer service and/or project management
- Basic understanding of mailing procedures (postal regulations, paperwork, etc.)
- Ability to problem solve and adapt/improvise a plan when needed
- Basic understanding of electronic MIS systems
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and meets deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and customer contact skills
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Demonstrates computer skills and aptitude; Microsoft Office preferred
- Effectively sets priorities
- Ability to track and report on opportunities for improvement and success
- Listening effectively when others are speaking
- Credible, responsive team-player
- Ability to perform and retain various skill-related tasks, training, and operations
