Team Overview:

Fusion Application as a Service (FAaaS) is an exciting team working on at the intersection of infrastructure and applications where we are using OCI to transform some of the largest SaaS properties in the industry. We are making the existing Oracle's SaaS portfolios including the multi-billion-dollar revenue producing Fusion applications become first class Oracle cloud citizens. To support this vision, we are building a platform that handles end-to-end product lifecycle; and provides a self-service cloud experience to our customers leveraging the underlying OCI platform and services.

Position Overview:

We are interested in Technical Product Manager’s with expertise and passion in solving difficult problems in distributed systems and highly available services. As a seasoned TPM you will always “put the customer first” and have the mentality of “act now and iterate” while building innovative cloud native products. The ideal candidate will have shown experience leading a set of projects and participation in both short- and long-term strategy planning. As a member of our highly collaborative and motivated team, you will work with business partners, project managers, and technical staff to deliver effectively against commitments. Responsibilities

Specifically, you will:

  • Engage and collaborate with business and development stakeholders to understand business objectives and requirement.

  • Apply project management discipline to develop plans, define scope, document requirements, and manage budget/schedule/resources for a complex group of projects.

  • Own establishing and managing multiple project deliverables, communicating project and program vision and ensuring IT resources are aligned properly.

  • Utilize both agile and waterfall methodologies, driving technical and functional teams to complete critical path actions in a timely fashion.

  • Maintain a high level of organization and planning while communicating with stakeholders to reach timelines and maintain customer satisfaction.

  • Independently identify risks, manage corrective action plans when budget or schedule deviations occur, and escalate / communicate project health to senior leadership.

  • Demonstrate flexibility and resilience in response to changing or ambiguous situations, directing changes through appropriate review and approval mechanisms.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

  • Ensure operational technical readiness for all phases of the product cycle

  • Actively partner with Cloud teams to ensure appropriate processes and templates are utilized for project and program success.

  • Look for process definition and improvement opportunities and lead others in adhering to existing IT processes and contributing to their improvement.

  • Ensure service teams meet the operational bar while continuing to raise the bar for the organization

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent practical experience.

  • 6+ years of experience in Program Management on technical cross-functional projects.

  • Experience in managing and executing large-scale, complex technical projects and delivering high quality products.

  • Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence (wiki) or other Engineering development management tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or other technical related field.

  • Experience SaaS Cloud product, Cloud Infrastructure experience, Strong technical background in program or project management.

  • Ability to be an influential member of a highly integrated team composed of both technical and non-technical members.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $87,800 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
