Collins Aerospace, Avionics Sourcing organization has an opportunity for a Supply Chain professional supporting our Wilsonville, OR facility. As a Supply Chain Strategy Manager, you will work within cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with enterprise preferred supplier selection and cost management supporting new product development and strategic initiatives. 

Primary Responsibilities: 

·         Interface with NPI teams to align on preferred strategic suppliers for new program developments 

·         Evaluate technology life cycle to ensure future availability of material 

·         Develop and implement supplier risk mitigation plans for material availability 

·         Develop Supply Chain strategies to meet or exceed material cost objectives for program success 

·         Oversee development and implementation of sourcing strategies for components, subcontracted items, and contract manufacturers 

·         Lead and facilitate product focused improvement events to advance cost, quality, and producibility goals 

·         Participate as member of commodity-based Technology Team as applicable 

Qualifications/Experience Needed:

  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications: 

·         SAP experience 

·         Experience in Supply Chain, sourcing, procurement, or related industry 

·         Experience in a manufacturing environment working with direct production materials 

·         Project management, organizational and prioritization skills 

·         Interpersonal skills with the ability to represent the organization as a contact on projects and gain cooperation of others 

·         Skills in Lean, Six Sigma, ACE, or CORE

This role is also eligible for the Re-Empower Program. The Re-Empower Program helps support talented and committed professionals as they rebuild their capabilities, enhance leadership skills, and continue their professional journey. Over the course of the 14-week program, experienced professionals will gain paid, on-the-job experience, have an opportunity to participate in sessions with leadership, develop personalized plans for success and receive coaching to guide their return-to-work experience.
