- Execute clinical flow cytometry testing in clinical trial studies
Position Qualifications (Education, Skills, Experience):
- Ph.D. in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Immunology, or related discipline with a minimum of 2 years’ industry experience.
- BS/MS in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Immunology, related discipline and must have a minimum of 5 years’ industry experience
Key Responsibilities:
- General laboratory skills and knowledgeable in analytical methods and techniques.
- Must have the ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task, and work in a multidisciplinary team, environment, and under guidance and supervision.
- 2+ years of experience in custom assay development and validation with Flow Cytometry
- Must have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Ability to work independently or as a part of team
- Good understanding of GCLP and CAP/CLIA environment preferred.
- Computer skills to include FCS Express/FlowJo (or similar), Microsoft Excel (Visual Basic is a plus), Word, PowerPoint, OneDrive.
- Working knowledge of universal precautions and handling of human specimens.
- Working knowledge of flow cytometry development/validation projects including experimental design and execution, and data analysis and interpretation.
- Ability to summarize experimental results for reports, presentations, and publications.
- Experience with highly specialized laboratory equipment (flow cytometers, cell sorters, etc.)
- Ability to operate effectively in a flow cytometry function with clear focus on deliverable goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments
- Self-starting ability with exceptional time and project management skills
- Clinical Trials experience is preferred
