Job description

HubSpot is looking for a Principal Sales Strategy Analyst to support the evolution of Hubspot's Outbound Strategy. The Sales Strategy and Operations team's (SSO) mission at HubSpot is to enable data-backed decisions that drive growth and productivity. This role will work closely with the Global Sales and Revenue Marketing leaders to develop a world-class outbound strategy and drive go-to-market execution.

You will report to a Sales Strategy Manager and drive strategic decision-making, reporting and insights, and GTM programs to improve front-line rep productivity. The focus of this work will be to build alignment between marketing and sales to establish a strategy to maximize Hubspot's TAM opportunity and define optimal demand management. As you grow within this role, you will learn the rhythms of our go-to-market inside and out and have an active voice in shaping our Sales Strategy for the future.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide data-driven operational decision-making to guide the Global Sales outbound strategy, owning executive communication and ensuring Sales voice across projects.
  • Liaise with Revenue Marketing and SSO to improve global alignment and adoption of prospecting plays.
  • Work closely with Marketing Strategy and Operations (MSO) leaders to size Hubspot's TAM, identify gaps in HubSpot's database, and determine how to bridge those gaps.
  • Lead the launch of a Lead Development (LDR) team as part of the efforts to maximize Hubspot's reach into the TAM and improve data hygiene.
  • Review, optimize, and execute lead rotation to maximize return on rep productivity, ensuring rotation logic accounts for regional nuances and is aligned with sales leadership.

We are looking for people who:

  • Are process-oriented and excel at creating and executing a clear operating cadence across a range of stakeholders.
  • Are highly analytical and can leverage raw, unorganized data into actionable insights and repeatable, scalable reporting.
  • Experienced in shaping a strategic agenda, owning analysis that uncovers areas for investment or improvements, and leading cross-functional execution to turn recommendations into action.
  • Can adapt quickly to the evolving needs of a high-growth SaaS business and create pragmatic and innovative solutions to complex business problems.
  • Can organize and lead cross-functional teams to execute strategic business decisions.
  • Are comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment and interacting with senior stakeholders from a range of business functions.
  • Have 5+ years of professional experience.
  • Have a B.A. or B.S. degree (An M.B.A. is a plus).

Cash compensation range: 138500-221600 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot's bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, all HubSpotters are eligible to participate in HubSpot's equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
