Critical Authority position responsible for global regulatory assessments, strategic planning, scoping, advisement and driving solutions for the successful launch in global markets. Provides strategic perspective and timely regulatory guidance and input throughout the market opening, continuous operation and monitoring of regional regulatory landscape changes. Responsible for building market entry compliance playbook and ensuring and fostering tight-knit collaborations between Supply Chain Operation and International business, as well as external partners!
Responsibilities
Global Regulatory Compliance:
- Accountable for establishing high-level regional compliance critical action plans and general timelines.
- Accountable for establishing regulatory compliance strategy and execution recommendations for international market entry.
- Provide critical link between Supply Chain Operations and BBW International Business and franchise partners to ensure compliance in regions where BBW operates.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners within supply chain and international business to establish a 3-5 year business/compliance plan, due-diligence process and roadmap for global expansion.
Emerging Global Issues Management:
- Supervise global regulatory compliance landscape and communicate to internal cross-functional teams.
- Responsible for supervising and understanding emerging compliance issues and identifying impacts and initiate change requirements in product development and life cycle management.
Government Agency and Trade Association Management:
- Plan and lead engagement with international government agencies, external business partners and international trade associations.
- Provides a perspective on government and trade association engagement strategy.
- Participates in trade association actives and provides update to cross-functional partners.
- Assists in establishing business plans on influencing international government agencies, trade associations and franchise partners to support broad international business and operations.
- Communicates emerging governmental and trade association activities to cross functional teams.
Talent:
- Provide coaching, advising and mentorship to junior associates.
- Actively participates in hiring new associates and assists in onboarding new associates and training cross functional partners when needed.
Qualifications
- 15 plus year’s global regulatory experiences in the cosmetic and/or personal care product industries
- Experience interacting broadly with internal business leaders and partners.
- Strong ability to influence at multiple levels within the Enterprise and external partners.
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
Education
- Minimum BS/BA degree with graduate degrees preferred.
