Responsibilities:
- Leading and delivering municipal water and wastewater facilities planning and design projects.
- Field work and site visits from planning through construction may be required with occasional travel.
- Project management, preparation of assessment and design reports, performing design calculations, cost estimating, equipment sizing/selection, and preparation of construction documents for municipal water/wastewater treatment facilities.
- Communicate clearly and concisely through technical writing.
Education and experience requirements:
- 6-10 years of experience in delivering water and wastewater projects for municipal clients
- Must hold an active SC Professional Engineer license.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Environmental/Chemical Engineering with an MS preferred.
- Proficient in English and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in all computer software typically used (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- CADD and other software (GIS, etc.) skills will be considered a plus.
- The candidate must have strong organizational skills.
