Job Description
-Will play a key role in leading technical initiatives, providing guidance to the engineering team, and driving the overall technical strategy of the organization.
-This position requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
-Lead technical initiatives and provide technical guidance to the engineering team.
-Design and develop high-quality software solutions, ensuring scalability, robustness, and maintainability.
-Drive the overall technical architecture and strategy, making informed decisions to meet business objectives.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to define and prioritize requirements and deliverables.
-Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and promote best practices for software development.
-Research and evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending their adoption where appropriate.
-Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
-Proactively identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth and efficient project execution.
-Deep understanding of how to create member personas and apply user-centered design principles.
-Plan and execute research for discovery as well as validation phases of conceptualization through usability testing.
-Ability to articulate a design strategy or approach that will impact the user experience across products or platforms and support ideas with sound reasoning and/or data.
-Research and recommend next-gen network technology, products & services.
-Develop standard, procedures and other reference documentation to guide the various technology stakeholders throughout the enterprise.
-Understand business strategy and design technical solutions to facilitate/aid execution of business strategy.
Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
-5 7 years of related experience.
-Extensive experience in software development, with a focus on backend or full-stack development.
-Strong expertise in at least one major programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C++) and related frameworks.
-Proven experience in designing and implementing complex software systems, with a deep understanding of software architecture principles.
-Strong problem solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
-Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
-Experience with agile methodologies and the ability to deliver high-quality software in a fast-paced environment.
-Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture.
-Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD, containerization, and infrastructure automation.
-Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
Masters Degree
-7+ years of experience.
-2+ years of supervisory or management experience.
