As our schools Principal, you will be a cornerstone in advancing our educational mission, overseeing all operations and instructional quality across our Early Childhood centers. Your leadership will directly influence key metrics such as enrollment, compliance, teacher retention, and kindergarten readiness. You'll cultivate a supportive and engaging environment for students, families, and educators alike, while embodying the values and mission of SproutFive.
The role excites you because you will:
- Oversee all aspects of our Early Childhood centers, ensuring they meet or exceed enrollment, compliance, and quality metrics
- Develop and manage a current team of 4 School Directors and 48 teachers and upcoming schools as we grow
- Work with the Finance Team to oversee budgets for each school location
- Partner with the Schools and Community Engagement Team for family attendance, retention, and enrollment
- Coordinate with the Center for Early Childhood Innovation and the NUDL Institute for Professional Learning to align research and professional development to classroom practice
- Implement and oversee a trauma-responsive and social-emotional learning environment
- Engage with all stakeholders, including directors, teachers, parents, and children
- Drive the professionalization of our workforce through ongoing training and development
- Ensure all schools complete applications for publicly funded childcare and maintain accurate records
Day-by-day you will:
- Provide leadership in the operations and management of our schools, supporting School Directors in their roles
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators such as enrollment, compliance audits, teacher retention, and kindergarten readiness
- Be the go-to resource for uplifting teachers and building a culture of learning
- Shape and execute the vision for our curriculum and classroom practices
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- You have 8-10 years of leadership experience, preferably in an educational setting
- You understand licensure and compliance regulations, with bonus points for Early Childhood program experience
- You possess excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
