Early Childhood Mental Health Master's Level Consultant

Location: 4629 Aicholtz Road Cincinnati, Ohio 45244; Hamilton County Centers
Hours: Full time (40 hours)
Degree Required: Bachelor's degree in Social Work
Degree Preferred: Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy
License Require: LSW, LPC, or MFT
License Preferred: LISW, LPCC, or IMFT
Required Experience: Experience working with infants/young children (0-6) and Mental Health is required, experience in a school setting is preferred

This is an opportunity providing infant and Early Childhood Mental Health services primarily in Hamilton County Head Start—Community Action Agency.
Primary job responsibilities:
- Provides programmatic, classroom, and individual prevention/consultation to early learning centers,. parents, and children as well as completing observations and strengths needs assessments
- Collaborates with Early Learning Centers for at risk/challenging behaviors and Safety planning
- Collaborates with early learning educators to assist students in achieving social/emotional and academic success, as well as relationship building with school administration.
- Provides education to parents around infant and Early Childhood Mental Health and can link families with Mental Health resources and treatment services within the community.
- Completes documentation required in a timely fashion.
