MARKETING CONTENT SPECIALIST
Primary Responsibilities: This position reports to the Area Senior Brand Marketing Manager and the Online Marketing Manager along with working closely with property Marketing Directors on visual ideas and assets for graphic design, social media, promotional materials, and advertising for three resort properties under Prince Resorts Hawaii. Update and manage multiple property websites with relevant information. Prepare, plan, coordinate and execute on property photoshoots. Assist with updating property websites with relevant information. Support third-party review site relations and response efforts to enhance the property's reputation. Coordinate on-property visits from photographers and social media influencer including reservations and special requests. Manage multiple digital photo library systems, ability to work with multiple CMS and digital platforms.
Essential Duties:

1. Must be proficient in the English language - reading, writing and speaking.
2. Have strong communication skills - written, verbal and public presentations.
3. Maintain strong skills with marketing applications: Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, LightRoom, AfterEffects, Photoshop, etc.), video editing, Canva, Razzbonic, CMS
4. Maintain organizational skills to support the marketing creative design and digital assets process.
5. Be a strong team player by supporting other marketing department members, sales, food and beverage, and other department initiatives.
6. Update multiple website CMS as needed, attention to detail needed.
7. Be proficient with the photography process - must be able to coordinate, organize and execute photoshoots onsite at property which may require lifting to 50lbs, weekend or evening hours and traveling inter-island, driving off-property, location scouting, communicating with various departments.
8. Conduct third-party photoshoots and work with photographer on visual or logistical needs. Develop and communicate/lead photoshoot, agenda, and correspondence, plus provide strong support onsite for day-of photoshoot.
9. Provide a high level of guest service in all areas of the resort.
10. Organize and manage multiple asset libraries and CMS with digital assets.
11. Assist with multiple requests from various departments on their need for images and assets.
12. Ability to work under pressure and motivation to succeed in a competitive environment.
13. Understand and support hotel goals and objectives.

Other Duties:

1. Actively participate in industry and community initiatives.
2. Represent Prince Resorts Hawaii in a professional, respectful manner.
3. Attend resort management meetings.
4. Perform other related duties as assigned or required.

Working Conditions:

1. Normal office conditions, sitting, lifting, standing.
2. Outdoors to give tour of the resort or greet media or photographers.
3. Must be able to travel off island or out of state.

Work Hours:

1. Must be able to work schedule determined by Marketing Directors or Area Directors of Sales and Marketing.
2. Must be able to work long and irregular hours as needed.
3. Must be able to work more than 50 hours per week.

Equipment Use:

1. Proficient knowledge and experience with web-based and smart phone applications that may be applicable to the position.
2. Ability to use various office equipment including but not limited to calculators, photocopiers, scanners.
3. Must have a valid passport and State ID.
4. Must have valid Driver's License and be able to drive.

Mental and Physical Demands:

1. Ability to prioritize and organize workload to ensure deadlines is met.
2. Able to manage stressful and challenging situations.
3. Able to stand and walk up to 3 hours in a day to meet with clients, conduct tours, meet with departments, and attend meetings.
4. Able to sit at a desk to do administrative duties.
5. Travel on airplanes; carry luggage and sales and marketing material.
6. Lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 lbs.

Communication Demands:

1. Must have the ability to effectively communicate English in person, over the phone or in writing to guests, employees, potential clients, and vendors.
2. Able to conduct presentations to large or small groups of people.
3. Must be able to receive feedback and coaching as necessary.
4. Ability to secure photo and video release forms by MKR, PW and Marriott requirements.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

1. College degree in marketing with a minimum of two years marketing experience preferred.
2. Must be personable, tactful, patient, tolerant, assertive, respectful, and self-motivated.
3. Job requires travel, occasional weekend and evening hours.
