Primary Therapist For Php Facility

Compassion Behavioral Health is looking for a Full-Time Licensed Primary Therapist to join our team at our PHP Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder Treatment facility in Hollywood FL.

Weekly schedule would be Tuesday through Saturday - 8:45am to 5:00pm

Our compassionate, family-oriented treatment facility is seeking a full-time Primary Clinical Therapist. A proven self-starter who can come in and hit the ground running, bringing fresh ideas to motivate and engage clients suffering from Mental Health and Substance use disorders. The Primary Therapist is responsible for providing comprehensive clinical services to clients and their families.

Position reports to: Clinical Director

Skills and Requirements:

Master Level, Required

RMHCI | LMHC preferred

Proven clinical experience

Performs individual and group therapy and carries a caseload of up to 15 clients

Performs biopsychosocial assessments, trauma assessments and suicide risk assessments; creates individualized treatment plans and conducts treatment plan reviews; writes daily group notes, weekly individual progress notes and transfer/discharge summaries all completed in a timely manner to ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and in-house clinical guidelines. (**Please be prepared to discuss clinical notes and treatment plans during your interview.)

Provides couples counseling and/or family therapy sessions weekly via telephone or in person

Provides crisis counseling while blocking potential AMA discharges

Attends daily staff meetings and weekly clinical group supervision meetings

Strong documentation skills

Excellent listening and communication skills

Experience with EMR's - Kipu software experience, preferred.
