Job Purpose/Overview
The Pricing Analyst is responsible for ensuring that pricing requests are handled mutually and efficiently depending on the customer and project for both Reference Lab (RL), Point of Care, (PoC), Imaging systems, and any other products in the diagnostic portfolio (at-home, allergy portfolio, and others). The Pricing Analyst will document and create continuity and consistency in the pricing process so that current and subsequent associates can make clear and principled decisions relating to customer offers. They will review margins and competitive invoices to ensure that proposals are within guidelines. Finally, the Pricing Analyst is responsible for using competitive insights and market trends to analyze Antech catalogue pricing and exceptions made to pricing and provide focused feedback to Sales Operations Leadership and Marketing Leaders with the goal of helping them to create future-state pricing and revenue generating discount strategies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze market trends relating to diagnostic portfolio and pricing to ensure competitive and profitable pricing guidelines.
- Review and approve requests for discounted prices that fall below guidelines.
- Present key conclusions and recommendations to leadership to aid in creation of pricing strategy and marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with the Customer Pricing team to create detailed processes and best practices when reaching pricing recommendations and advising on fee schedules.
- Work with Training Team to ensure that the Sales Team is trained in and has the required guidelines to successfully execute our pricing strategy.
- Work with sales team and provide price analysis comparisons to competitor invoices.
- Provide subject matter expertise on pricing in projects and promotions.
- Collaborate with IT, Sales Team, Marketing Team, and others to implement system changes.
- Work with outside vendors (programmers) to troubleshoot and correct system errors that could impede workflow.
- Handle cyclical pricing initiatives (annual fee changes and other mass updates).
- Create and maintain a system to simplify and track the issuing of credits.
- Assist in special projects on an ad hoc basis including database changes and other mass updates.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Econ, or the equivalent years of experience working in one of the above fields.
- 5 or more years of experience working on pricing models and processes.
- Understanding of the Veterinary diagnostic industry is highly preferred.
- Experience working with a field-based sales team is highly preferred.

- Able to proficiently use the Microsoft suite, and demonstration of ability to learn new programs easily and independently.
- In-depth experience with Excel required and Power BI analytics preferred.
Travel
There is not notable travel in this position but could be asked to travel on occasion up to 10% of the time.
The Target Pay Range for this position is $76,000 - $96,000 annually. At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget.
