Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where young children can learn and grow. You will play a vital role in their early childhood education and development.
Duties:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum to promote the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children
- Plan and conduct engaging and interactive lessons that incorporate various learning styles
- Provide a safe and supportive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members through effective communication and collaboration
- Assess the developmental progress of each child and provide individualized support as needed
- Maintain accurate records of each child's attendance, behavior, and academic performance
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to plan school-wide events and activities
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the classroom materials, supplies, and equipment
- Adhere to all licensing regulations, health, and safety guidelines
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent to
- Previous experience working with toddlers or preschool-aged children
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that promote literacy education
- Proficient in classroom management techniques to create a positive learning environment
- Familiarity with curriculum development for preschool-aged children
- Passionate about working with young children and helping them reach their full potential
