Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in young children
- Use effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning environment
- Collaborate with parents and communicate regularly about their child's progress
- Assess and track the development of each child and provide individualized support as needed
- Incorporate special education strategies and accommodations for children with diverse learning needs
- Provide tutoring or additional support to students who may be struggling academically
Skills:
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare or classroom setting
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lessons that promote learning through play
- Familiarity with physical education activities suitable for young children
- Understanding of daycare regulations and compliance requirements
