Duties:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans for preschool-aged children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging activities
- Use effective communication skills to interact with children, parents, and staff
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior
- Assess and track the progress of each child and provide feedback to parents
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children in an early childhood education setting
- Familiarity with toddler care and development
- Knowledge of daycare or childcare best practices
- Ability to plan and lead physical education activities for young children
- Experience in creating a structured classroom environment
- Strong behavior management skills to create a positive learning atmosphere
- Proficiency in teaching basic math concepts to preschoolers
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a background check
