The hours are 8:30-1:30 Monday-Thursday (March-August)
Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00 ( beginning August for the new school year) . Must have at least 1 year of experience in a licensed preschool and pass the background check.
```Responsibilities```
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes learning and development
- Create engaging lesson plans that incorporate various teaching methods
- Foster a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child
- Monitor and assess the progress of each child's development
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education
- Maintain accurate records of each child's attendance, progress, and behavior
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior in the classroom
- Encourage literacy education through storytelling, reading, and language activities
- Incorporate physical education activities to promote gross motor skills development

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Experience working with children, preferably in a preschool or early childhood setting
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development for preschool-aged children
- Proficiency in classroom management techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of special education strategies for children with diverse learning needs
- Ability to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes the well-being of all children
- Understanding of child welfare guidelines and regulations
