Job Description

PROGRAM INFORMATION

Tiny Troops Soccer is a minority woman-owned and operated military spouse business that has employed over 500 military spouses, dependents, and civilians around the world. Our mission is to serve military kids and their friends all while teaching the great game of soccer to the youngest generation of players, ages 2-4 years old. We build happy, confident kids, developmentally ready soccer players, and a community for all.

The Tiny Troops Difference is that WE are building a global community of active, healthy children who are equipped to deal with the stressors of military life. We strive to bring a safe, fun, and playful activity into children's lives that instill in them a sense of importance, self-worth, camaraderie, and love for soccer to carry on into every adventure where life takes them.

WHAT YOU WILL LOVE ABOUT US

  • You get to be silly, have fun and develop one-of-a-kind bonds with really amazing kids. Our coaches love to roar like dinosaurs, chug-a-choo-choo like trains, and hop like a frog!
  • You get to develop your leadership and teaching skills in a safe and supportive environment with custom designed weekly lesson plans supplied to you for each age group you coach.
  • You get to enjoy a job that promotes your health and physical fitness with lesson plans that keep coaches moving up and down the field.
  • You will receive specialized class plans, games and activities that are easy and simple to follow, and will be supplied each month along with all coach equipment.
  • You will complete an online Coach Training Course curriculum, as well as receive professional field training from our Director of Coaching to prepare you for your first day on the field.
  • You will have access to a supportive and soccer-loving community of people that come together once per month virtually for meetings, as well as several fun virtual community events for all.
  • You will have the opportunity for growth and development as a coach through monthly reviews.

The hours range from 2 - 5 hours per week. Tuesday, Wednesday and/or Thursday morning availability is required for this position. Additional weekday hours may be available during the later afternoon or early evening pending enrollment requests.
