Easterseals Central Texas began in 1937 as the Texas Society for Crippled Children. In 1949, a small building was dedicated as the Austin Cerebral Palsy Center serving a small population of Central Texas residents. Almost twenty years later, we became the Capital Area Rehabilitation Center, expanding our services, programs, and the persons served. THE DAILY LIFE OF A PRESCHOOL PROGRAM COORDINATOR

As the Preschool Program Coordinator, your dedication to providing top-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy and child development services is simply unmatched. You keep your finger on the pulse of the latest trends and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis and child development. You're the captain of the organization, creating daily schedules for activities and staff assignments, conducting assessments for our students with disabilities or autism, and promoting peer-mediated instruction and the use of antecedent-based interventions while ensuring consistent and effective adherence to behavioral protocols.

You're a true superstar, providing progress reports for preschool clients, distributing curriculum assignments to therapists in advance, and checking the accuracy of completed curriculum kits. You create activity plans and set up room zones with materials to ensure a vibrant learning environment. You're a data magician, graphing information related to PLA checks and probes.

Your positive attitude is infectious! You lead monthly training sessions on teaching methods and collaborate with the supervising BCBA to make classroom management a breeze. You take safety and confidentiality seriously, following all HIPAA guidelines and procedures to protect the privacy and well-being of our clients, staff, volunteers, and visitors. REQUIREMENTS FOR A PRESCHOOL PROGRAM COORDINATOR

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
• Experience working with children on the autism spectrum
• Knowledge about the principles of applied behavior analysis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Current driver's license and proof of automobile insurance

A bachelor's degree in applied behavior analysis, child development, psychology, or a related field as well as being enrolled in graduate coursework is preferred, but we will take many factors into consideration. Two years of classroom management experience would be a plus! To be successful in this early childhood education role, you must have experience handling a fast-paced classroom with multiple priorities with a high degree of efficiency and accuracy.
