Preschool Music Instructor
(Part-Time)
C & V Music is growing and is seeking a Preschool Music instructor to join the C & V Music Team to support the growth and provide music instruction to students at preschools we are contracted with. As a Preschool Music instructor, you will use your creativity and instructional skills to help our students learn basic music concepts. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude that is looking to make an impact while having a good time with the students. Those looking to gain valuable child education experience, impart music concepts into others, and utilize their creativity are encouraged to apply. Disclaimer: this job is only part-time, and is offered as a way to supplement your primary income. Hours worked (on average) can range from 1.5 to 4 weekly.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to follow C & V Music standards and represent the company well
- Must be dependable, show commitment, display patience and have integrity
- Ability to travel to the schools weekly with reliable transportation
- Excellent communication skills
- Create an encouraging, fun, and focused lesson atmosphere
- Effective time management and organizational skills to keep students on task
- Experience working with toddlers and children, ages 2 - 6
- Ability to pass a background check
- Willingness to accept feedback
What You Will Be Doing
- Teaching company standard music curriculum and concepts to students ranging from age 2+.
- Driving out to various preschools across Orange/Seminole/Osceola (location can be chosen based on your preference) counties with company provided instruments for instructional purposes
- Utilizing creative ways to teach music theory, education and performance
- Adding innovative and creative ideas to C & V Music curriculum
- Communicating with administrative assistant with needs including instrument replacements or general assistance while at schools

C & V Music is a non-traditional, student-centered, creative music program that excels in providing music theory and music performance to organizational groups, adult residential facilities, schools, and individuals.
Our primary student base includes educational facilities and private one-on-one lessons (virtual and face-to- face in our music studio). Just as each person has a specialized DNA, we believe each student will grasp and create music in their own way. Therefore, each student receives an individualized curriculum using a holistic and student-centered approach.
