Job Duties include but are not limited to:
- Caring for
- Creating and maintaining lasting relationships with students
- Creating and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans
- Meeting the individual needs of every child by encouraging and supporting play, exploration, and learning
- Collaborating with families to create inclusive and culturally relevant classroom and curriculum
- Creating a fun, welcoming, warm, and safe classroom environment
- Completing assessments and documenting growth and learning
- Collaborating with colleagues to provide quality care and education
- Meeting and following the requirements of all licensing agencies
- 1+ year of formal or informal experience in caring for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years
- High School Diploma required
- CDA/AA or BA in Early Childhood Education
OR AA or BA in a related field with 6 credits in Early Childhood Education preferred - CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Proof of TB Test, and TDAP, 2 Doses of MMR, and immunizations
- Proof of Covid vaccination
- Medical Physical
- Obtain new Food Handlers Training Certificate
- Must meet and follow all additional City and State licensing requirements
