ABOUT US

Daisy Hill Kitchen and Grill is a great place to work with wonderful people. We are essentially a fancy gas station with a full service grill. The grill makes great breakfast and lunch on the go! We are home to the Hungry Boy and the Chopped Cheese. We also do meals to go, overnight oatmeal, baked french toast, make all of our own soups and smoked meats.

The qualified candidate would be expected to close with an excellent schedule from 7a or 8am to 4pm or 5pm. This job has great hours and good time off.

DUTIES

- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Operate grill equipment and ensure proper cooking temperatures
- Monitor food inventory and communicate with the kitchen manager to ensure adequate supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the grill area
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and specials
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper food handling techniques
- Assist with catering events as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

- Previous experience working in a kitchen or food industry preferred
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and menu planning
- Ability to handle knives and other kitchen tools safely
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Understanding of food safety regulations and practices

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
