Responsibilities:
- Engage and interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner to understand their requirements and preferences.
- Showcase and demonstrate the features and benefits of our used car inventory to potential buyers.
- Assist customers in selecting the right vehicle by providing detailed information about models, specifications, pricing, and financing options.
- Conduct test drives with customers to highlight the vehicle's performance and features.
- Collaborate with the finance team to discuss financing and leasing options, and ensure a smooth purchasing process for customers.
- Negotiate pricing and trade-in values to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the automotive industry, market trends, and competitor offerings.
- Follow up with leads and prospects to provide additional information and address any questions or concerns.
- Provide exceptional post-sale customer service to foster long-term relationships and customer loyalty.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in automotive or retail sales, with a focus on used Car Sales preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse customers.
- Knowledge of automotive features, specifications, and industry trends.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and competitive sales environment.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- Results-driven and self-motivated with a customer-first approach.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Proficiency in using CRM and sales tracking tools.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in sales or automotive management is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of automotive systems.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues.
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate diagnosis and repair.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to explain repairs to customers.
- Knowledge of math for calculating estimates and invoices.
- Ability to cold call potential customers for business development purposes.
- Experience with inventory control in a retail environment.
- Organizational skills to manage workload efficiently.
