- Review and interpret Reinsurance documents to be established and populated into the contract system.
- Calculate, analyze, and record proper ceded financial results within company guidelines.
- Monitor premium payables to ensure timely payments are being made.
- Assist internal Finance partners to ensure proper reporting of the ceded premium financials.
- Prepare, evaluate, and complete reconciliations relating to assigned ceded premium (bookings, payables and accruals).
- Develop and review materials to participate in various Reinsurer activities such as commutations, insolvencies, audits, etc.
- Provide technical expertise as appropriate and make recommendations on possible solutions to moderate problems.
- Make recommendations on system, procedure and/or workflow enhancements to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of operation.

- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of insurance business or reinsurance.
- Working knowledge of accounting theory and practice.
- Working towards professional designation (MBA, CPA, ARe, CPCU).
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow through to ensure timely completion.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to consult on projects and present information effectively.
- Excellent relationships building skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with business partners.
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret trends and provide insights and recommendations to business partners.
- Ability to think strategically and use judgement to resolve issues as they arise.
- Three years of related work experience.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
