As Preconstruction Contracts Manager, you will review Preconstruction Contracts and facilitate approval flow for contract negotiations. This role will interface closely with Preconstruction and Business Development teams to support JV and Designer negotiations and approval processes.
What you will be doing- Coordinates construction contract evaluation process to ensure complete and accurate review of negotiable terms during the preconstruction phase of business. Develops contract summaries of reviewed contracts.
- Develops and issues standardized templates and uses strict version control processes to ensure accurate document control.
- Develops and maintains searchable database of past, active and template level contracts for company-wide use.
- Drives accurate and complete contract approval process and prepares contracts for execution in accordance with corporate standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Coordinates and organizes contract negotiation meetings, as necessary.
- Informs all relevant internal stakeholders on contract development progress in an accurate and timely manner.
- Maintains knowledge of Company's values and strategic plan.
- Performs additional assignments per management's direction.
- Bachelor's degree in related field required.
- 5+ years' experience in contract management or negotiations required.
- Paralegal experience highly preferred.
- Construction experience preferred.
- High attention to detail and able to collect and coordinate data from different types of sources.
- Research and investigation skills.
- Strong communication and organizational skills required.
