a Preclinical Research Associate who will contribute to ongoing programs and build new animal
models to study modulation of neural circuits and support translational development of cellular
therapeutics.
Working with rodents including handling, dosing, surgical procedures, and tissue collection
Observation and scoring of behavioral assays
Analysis of EEG (electroencephalography) for seizures
Processing tissue for histology: Microtome and cryostat sectioning, staining,
immunohistochemistry, imaging and quantitative analysis
Following experimental protocols and maintaining detailed and accurate records
Analyzing data and communicating results
Conducting independent experiments and contributing to collaborative activities
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree
in biology, neuroscience, or a related field (or equivalent)
Previous relevant lab experience and supporting references that includes working with
animals
Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to contribute to a team
Clear, effective written and verbal communication
High energy and passion for drug discovery and development
