Job Description
- Maintain mammalian cell lines for cell-based assays.
- Antibody screening utilizing ELISA, flow cytometry, and cell-based functional assays.
- Reagent preparation and keeping inventory and electronic lab notebooks up to date.
- Take on the role of an independent and creative researcher who demonstrates initiative in experimental design and execution, including troubleshooting.
- Work closely with other team members and leaders supporting multiple drug discovery programs simultaneously.
- Effectively present and communicate concepts and results, both orally and in writing, to the team
- BS or MS in Immunology, Cell Biology or related discipline with 0-3 years of relevant industrial or academic experience.
- Demonstrated technical expertise in mammalian tissue culture (in either industry or academic settings) is required.
- Ability to efficiently work independently and as part of a team on challenging projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated individual with excellent problem-solving, organizational and communication skills with the ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Graphpad Prism. Experience with Benchling ELN/LIMS is a plus.
- Experience and/or knowledge desired but not required for this position:
- Experience with multicolor flow cytometry and ELISA are highly desirable.
- Experience with monoclonal Antibody Discovery is highly desirable.
- Handling small animals including immunization, blood drawing and harvesting tissue, and/or willingness to learn is highly desirable.
- Experience with stable cell line generation, FACS sorting and/or experimental design of cell-based assays is a plus.
- Experience performing cell-based assays to identify functional antibody candidates is a plus.
- Experience and/or knowledge of BLI /Octet is a plus.
