Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Neurology practice. The Practice Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the practice, including administrative tasks, financial management, and human resources. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical office management and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
Duties:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple sites
- Manage and supervise staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to ensure efficient workflow
- Monitor and manage the financial aspects of the practice, including budgeting, billing, and collections
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including HIPAA guidelines
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and satisfaction
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical record systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks; Tenet)
- Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional manner
- Collaborate with insurance companies to manage claims and reimbursement processes
- Implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and retention
- Provide administrative and billing support to provider hospital services
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of acute care practices and medical management
- Proven experience in medical office management or a similar role
- Familiarity with managed care systems and insurance billing processes
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using electronic medical record systems (e.g., Eaglesoft)
- Knowledge of human resources principles and practices
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
