Practice Manager

Savannah’s Crossing Veterinary Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a Practice Manager to join our small animal practice. We are a two-doctor practice that provides top quality care at affordable prices to owners. We tailor the care to every owner and every animal, and we provide excellent communication and education to clients. We go above and beyond for owners! We have a staff of approximately 11 team members, and we strive to make the work-day fun.

We are looking to add an office manager to organize and manage the many facets of the practice. Office manager duties will include but are not limited to creating monthly reports on income and expenditures, doing bi-weekly payroll, ordering/managing our stock of pet food/medications/supplies, managing our online presence, and handling the hiring process of further staff. The office manager will also be required to handle any complaints and disputes from clients of the practice.

The expected work schedule is 5 days per week, with work hours being 8 am to 4:30 pm.

Responsibilities:

Monthly Reports

Examples include: Sales Tax Reporting, SIMPLE Retirement Contributions, etc.

Manage Online Presence-update website regularly, manage and respond to FB/Google/Yelp Reviews, etc.

Payroll every 2 weeks

Hospital Inventory and Ordering

Pay Monthly Bills and Track Invoices

Email Correspondence with owners

Hiring-post appropriate job advertisements, sort candidates, schedule and perform interviews

Run Errands for the practice as needed: Walmart, Lowe’s, Sam’s Club, cash deposits, etc.

Manage complaints and upset clients.

Train up front staff

Tech Support/IT troubleshooting

Fill in and act as a backup Receptionist as needed

Compensation:

Salary dependent on experience level

SIMPLE retirement plan with 3% match

10 days PTO per calendar year
