Position: Power Production Technician - Aircraft Arresting Systems

Location: March ARB, CA

Start Date: Immediate Opening

POSITION: EAST Inc., a multi-service facility management and base operations support provider to military installations, has the need for an Power production Technician for the Aircraft Arresting Systems.

Position will perform service calls and PM inspections and overhauls of the Aircraft Arresting System. Daily barrier maintenance and certification will be completed prior to opening of the runway.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must have Level 7, 3E0X2 (military) or CFETP 3E0X2WG (civil service), with a minimum of 5 years documented experience on Arresting Systems(IAW PWS Craftsmen Certifications and AFMAN 32-1040 requirements)

Must be able to pass a local background check

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening & physical

Must comply with company policies, OSHA, NEC, and base safety

Required to safely lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, bending, work above head with arms extended, provide manual labor as necessary and work in confined spaces

Operate aerial platform equipment from the raised platform and other gas-powered equipment as required

Must possess the tools of the trade

Required to follow oral and written directions in English

Must possess a valid state's driver's license

CDL Class B endorsement is required

Knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook or similar programs is helpful

COMPENSATION:

We offer a competitive salary and benefits. Hourly wage will be $35.02 plus $12.25 in H&W and pension as an Aircraft Arresting Systems Technician II with the ability to be paid up based on additional work assignments.
