Post-Graduate Financial Services Apprentice

Northwestern Mutual-Evansville is looking for highly motivated candidates for our Post-Graduate Financial Services Apprentice Program. This role is ideal for Seniors currently enrolled in college graduating in May 2024. No senior wants to leave college without a strong resume and a good idea of what they’d like to pursue. But whether you have a career path in mind or not, our Post-Graduate Program can help prepare you for what’s next in life. Our program is geared toward your success, getting you started with training, mentorship, and hands-on client experience right away. You are able to earn a base income while test driving all of the different avenues of a financial service career Northwestern Mutual has to offer.

The Post-Graduate Program is an opportunity to gain hands-on and real-world experience as you explore our career path of becoming a Financial Advisor. The goal of the post-graduate program is to prepare you to transition to a full-time Financial Advisor managing your own financial planning practice.

Graduating seniors will test-drive the career following their final semester at college and for 90 days after. During that time, you gain real world exposure and gain practical experience as they develop into a successful career financial representative.

With our training, you can start helping real clients make better financial decisions, while learning how to lead a business and yourself with the resources of a Fortune 100 company. Whether your interests or degrees lie in communications, management, marketing, finance, or something else, our multi-faceted opportunity can give you professional skills, knowledge, and confidence that are transferrable no matter the path you choose!

The Opportunity:

Outstanding graduating seniors will be given an opportunity to participate in an intense educational experience that could lead to a long-term career in financial planning. Study for and obtain the tools you need to be successful in financial planning. Get exposure to tools, resources and training that can help you discover and develop market opportunities that could lead to a successful practice helping clients plan for their financial future.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Full-time college seniors graduating in December 2023
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
• Exceptional work ethic and determination to achieve goals
• A history of demonstrated personal success in leadership, competition, and life
• Open to all majors
• Starting at $25/hr + Commission

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
