Pool Cleaner

We are looking for a Pool Technician to join our growing team.

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid clean drivers license & the ability to pass a drug test
• Pool cleaning experience is not necessary. We will fully train you before you go out in the field alone.
• Ability to handle physical workload and outdoor weather elements (lift items up to 50 pounds without restrictions).
• Ability to work independently.
• Responsibilities include testing and maintaining pools water balance at customer's homes, observing equipment for issues and reporting those issues back to the store, brushing/raking pools as needed.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position reports to the Service Manager and is responsible for cleaning, servicing and chemically treating the pools of customers who have a contract for a specific period of time. We will train you on how to clean your pools, test the water’s chemistry, and then treat with the appropriate chemicals. Our customers grow to love our associates caring for their pools, and you’ll quickly adopt your routes with pride and ownership.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

High school graduate or general education degree (GED). No pool experience necessary. This job requires high standards relating to the work performed and the image represented. Job success is determined by customer satisfaction, and good customer relations. Pool service technicians must be able to communicate politely and complete all work in a timely and accurate manner. The associate must be willing to work in adverse weather conditions, as long as it is safe. Must be a licensed driver in the State of Florida, with a clean driving record. Must comply strictly to all road signs, driving rules and regulations, and be noted for safe and courteous driving habits while operating company vehicles. Must be 21. Associates will be required to responsibly handle dangerous chemicals. Must be physically able to perform role.

GENERAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This is NO desk job! This position requires the associate to have a high degree of stamina for physical labor, with the ability to work in high degrees of heat and adverse weather conditions. Must be able to lift 50 pounds repetitively and often. The associate must be able to stand, bend, stoop, stretch and climb repetitively and often. The associate must be able to operate a motor vehicle and have the ability to work around chlorine without an allergic reaction.

Pay: $12.00 - $20.00 per hour
