Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Pocono Center provides programs and services for adults with developmental disabilities. Located in Newfoundland, PA, this position is responsible for:
Assessing patients;
Collecting and documenting the patient’s current health status and medical history.
Acts as infection control champion
Performing both direct patient care (i.e.. medication administration), as well as indirect patient care (i.e.. giving thorough, concise report at change of shift).
Maintaining documentation of nursing shift progress notes, lab slips, and related nursing procedures.
Participating in and assisting with the initial treatment plan and the treatment planning process.
Communicating with members of the treatment team information related to the client's medical care and behavior.
Most importantly, make a POSITIVE IMPACT on our clients and families!
Payrates:Starting rate $30.13-$34.35/hr depending on experience.

Qualifications
Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing (Registered Nurse). Current registration with PA State Board of Examiners.Minimum of three years of medical/surgical experience. Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and aging population preferred.
