One Federal Solution seeks a talented and passionate Policy Analyst to join our Pineville, LA team to support our Federal Government client. As a Policy Analyst, you will act as logistics coordinator in conjunction with other personnel on Special Operations Group missions.
Task and Duties:
- Assisting with securing lodging and vehicle rentals.
- Loading equipment for missions in a timely manner to avoid any delays in arrival at mission location.
- Transporting equipment to mission site.
- Working with SOG personnel with on-the-ground logistics to ensure all mission needs are being met.
- Support SOG staff in mission command post. To include completing paperwork, records, and logs.
- Assist personnel with set up and break-down of multiple facilities to include ranges, sim house.
- Assist with gathering appropriate equipment for training.
- Support warehouse personnel with tasks as needed.
- Assist other SOG personnel with Fleet Management.
- Ensure the Operational fleet is in ready status and all vehicle maintenance is current.
- Assign appropriate vehicles for Mission dictated rollout.
- Ensure all vehicle files are kept current. To include filing, reviewing for accuracy and completing any additional paperwork needed.
- Ensure Millage is completed per quarter.
- Assist with the overall Facility Administrative Oversight.
- Initiate forms and various paperwork to request funding for facilities upkeep.
- Support SOG financial personnel in their quote requests from outside vendors.
- Assist in the completion of yearly inventory of all accountable items.
- Assist with administrative paperwork and upkeep at the 4 remote training facilities.
- This position is not limited to the above tasks and will include other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to travel 25% of the time.
- Undergraduate degree required.
- Must have at least 1 year of administrative or relatable experience.
- Proficiency in using spreadsheet and word processing software.
- Ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets.
- Ability to prepare and correct reports and correspondence using word processing software.
