Are you ready to play a crucial role in supporting law enforcement operations? The Bothell Police Department (BPD) is seeking a dedicated individual to join their team as a Police Records Specialist. As a Police Records Specialist, you will be responsible for efficiently processing reports and legal documents, managing information in automated records management systems, and providing vital support within the department.
Note: This is a Temporary Full-Time position. The anticipated end date for this position will be four (4) full months from hire. This is also a non-represented and non-benefited position.
What will you do in this position?
- You will perform data entries in ACCESS (A Centralized Computer Enforcement Service System).
- Assist with monthly records audits.
- Issue Concealed Pistol License (CPL).
- Perform record retention and destruction according to City’s retention policies and Washington State Law.
- Demonstrate clear and efficient communication skills.
- Allocate time and resources to ensure timely completion of individual tasks.
- Streamline work processes and adeptly coordinate and collaborate with your team.
