Develop and manage the implementation, delivery, and evaluation of programs related but not limited to staff development, competency, orientation, and process improvement within Lexington Medical Center (LMC). The Program Manager will be responsible for project management and education initiatives to include, but not limited to, onboarding new staff, improving the patient experience, hard-wiring workflows, addressing knowledge and process gaps which will result in competent staff and consistent processes that support high quality patient care and an exceptional patient experience. This role will work closely with the Physician Network leadership team, practices and departments across the organization to manage projects and education initiatives working collaboratively to evaluate, develop, and implement programs to meet the needs of the Physician Network. The coordinator will develop and manage key performance indicators and change management initiatives associated with Physician Network Operational Support Services and other strategic initiatives.
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Field
Minimum Years of Experience: 1 Year of Project Management Experience

Required Training: Prior utilization of practice management applications and electronic healthcare software in both clinical and business workflows within a physician practice setting;
Would be considered an application super user with strong analytical skills;
Proficiency with Microsoft Office solutions to include Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, Excel, and Word;
Must be willing to attend Lexington Medical Center Supervisor/Coordinator Development Program within 6 months of position.

- Attends and represents LMC in meetings, workshops, and seminars to keep current in policies and trends in area of coordination. Informs management and other team members of updates.

- Demonstrates recognition that Development is part of a larger team, to include PNS, Physician Network Administration, end users in the physician network; and Information Systems to ultimately provide excellent care to the patients of LMC.
- Requires ability to maintain calm and helpful demeanor during customer support interactions and training events.
- Communicates effectively with Physicians, LMC Management Team, and staff at all organizational levels within PNS, across other departments, and with external business partners requiring tact in all communication with employee assuming responsibility for maintaining harmonious relationships.
- Collaborates to design, develop, and oversee the management of Development Programs such as Practice Manager Fellowship Program, Practice Manager Development, Nurse Practitioner Fellowship Program, new hire on-boarding and orientation to the physician network.
- Oversee the development and administration of physician network role based competencies development with a process to review and update regularly.
- Assess physician network staff development needs regularly to ensure alignment with organizational goals and regulatory initiatives.
- Facilitates and coordinates scheduling and marketing of Development Programs.
- Leads projects as assigned and will work with physician network leadership and team members to develop comprehensive project plans, identify resource needs, manage project activities, work with leadership to identify and remove barriers, and ensure delivery of a quality product according to timeline, scope and budget. Projects can include, but are not limited to, the areas of operational efficiency, financial analysis, market research, access to care, customer service, quality and clinical proficiency.
- Utilizes in-depth understanding and knowledge of workflows, policies and procedures, patient care/business processes, regulatory requirements to analyze and resolve needs within existing programs or suggest new programs.
- Participates in immediate and long range planning to promote continuous Development Program improvement and process efficiencies. Elicits and facilitates communication and cooperation among key end users, team members, and/or LMC Management Team.
- Coordinates and participates in conducting staff orientation.
- Develops training and presentations depending on development needs assessment.
- Accountable for leading collaboration within and outside of the PNS Department facilitating "Content Experts" and other resources to accomplish goals.
- Effectively utilizes multiple mediums to deliver training - classroom, 1:1, virtual and written to demonstrate appropriate, "user-friendly" communication of information. Works closely with Learning Management system and system coordinator to expand engaging virtual training delivery where appropriate.
- Prepares for training program accreditation as well as grant proposal and administration.
- Complies with relevant professional organizational guidelines for approval of continuing education credits as offered.

- Prioritizes and engages in multiple, competing projects.
- Tracks program compliance and productivity. Responsible for measuring training and non-training actions for cost benefit and maximizing utilization of resources.
- Generates timely and accurate reports as requested by PNS leadership.
