Job Description

Reports directly to whom: Plumbing Manager

Directly Supervises Whom/What: Running Plumbing Calls

Role: To represent Crawford Services to our customers in a way that fulfills our Mission Statement and exhibits our Core Values. To Diagnose and solve plumbing problems efficiently, accurately, and thoroughly. To recommend comfort and energy saving solutions to our clients.

Tasks and Duties:

• Arrive at calls at set appointment times
• Diagnose the problem and come up with the best solution for the customer
• Present pricing to customer
• Perform repairs
• Email truck stock usage to plumbing manager after each call
• Collect money on the job as often as possible
• Responsible to maintain cleanliness of the vehicle
• Maintain personal appearance
• Run plumbing calls (maintenance, service, sales, and install)
• Involve plumbing manager in creating sales lead quotes
• Install and complete jobs awarded to Crawford Services
Email green sheets (time cards) and ticket to Dispatcher

Job Requirements:

• Regular and punctual attendance. Ability to work overtime if needed.
• Must have a good technical understanding of plumbing work and systems
• Good phone and customer communication skills
• Excellent customer service principles and practices.
• Must have valid and current driver's license
• Able to successfully pass a background and drug test
• Must have and maintain current tradesman or journeyman's license

Experience:

Preferred two years' minimum experience in plumbing service position

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to see well enough to read reports, data, statistics, and information on a computer screen.
• Must be able to hear well enough to communicate on the telephone and in person.
• Must able to use your fingers for grasping, feeling, and be able to operate a computer and calculator
• Must be able to stoop, bend, and lift up to 80 pounds and reach. May be required to do limited carrying, lifting, pulling and pushing.
Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, and be able to crawl on hands and knees for at least 30 feet.
