PLASTIC INJECTION PRESS OPERATOR

Please note: this is NOT an entry-level position. Candidates must have prior experience and / or training in prototype molding, setting Injection Molding machines, process parameters, etc.
Hourly rate indicated is an estimate. Rate is based on experience.

Required Education/Experience
- Injection Molding Experience: +2 year MINIMUM
- High School Diploma
- Previous experience operating Plastic Injection Molding Presses
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing production needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operating Plastic Injection Molding Presses and related equipment to produce high-quality parts according to specifications
- Ensure that products manufactured meet or exceed all quality requirements.
- Understand and follow lean principles for the Injection Molding Department.
- Performing basic maintenance tasks on equipment to keep it running smoothly
- Inspecting finished parts for defects and ensuring they meet quality standards
- Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work area
Position Type/Hours
- Full Time
- 1st: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm (M-F)
- Must be available for overtime as needed
