Plant Manager - Direct Hire

Prestige Staffing Services is seeking an experienced Plant Manager for a Direct Hire opportunity in the greater Fort Wayne area with an outstanding company culture and benefits package.
Primary Responsibilities:

• Direct all of the day-today activities of the plant consistent with company schedules and policies.
• Monitor and coordinate the effective and efficient utilization of associates through proactive, high participation teamwork involvement.
• Responsible for the administration of policies and practices of the company.
• Develops manpower loading requirements based on production schedules.
• Sets priorities for production schedules based on new product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.
• Directs the work efforts of Shift Managers and Department Managers for the 24/7 operation.
• Makes budget recommendations on capital expenditures and labor.

Knowledge and Skills Preferred:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 10 years of manufacturing management
• Experience utilizing lean manufacturing principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong MS Office and ERP systems knowledge
• Good organizational skills, task and detail oriented
• Able to lead and inspire in a team environment
• Critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Able to influence without direct authority
• Capable of delivering constructive criticism
• Prior experience managing a budget
• Quality System knowledge and auditing ability
