Torch Technologies is seeking a Planning/Program Management Analyst in support of the USSPACECOM J56 and J59 Divisions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as Planning/Program Management Analyst / executive officer in a fast-paced, complex environment.
- Ensure Division leadership are prepared for senior leader engagements.
- Be responsible for generating, prioritizing, and managing correspondence and activities for Division leadership.
- Manage and execute special programs and activities for Division leadership.
- Manage tasks for the Divisions using Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) (formerly Task Management Tool/TMT), ensuring all tasks are appropriately assigned and completed correctly and on time.
- Manage personnel in- / out-processing.
- Provide support to Joint Planning Teams/Operational Planning Teams, workshops, and conferences.
- Schedule conference rooms, and set-up VTCs and Telecons for Division leadership and the Divisions' Joint Planning Teams.
- Coordinate meetings, pre-briefs, and other events with other organizations, individuals, and staff.
- Manage all CONUS and OCONUS travel for Division leadership using the Defense Travel System (DTS).
- Be responsible for the maintenance, organization, and quality control of files and correspondence.
- Develop and implement internal operating procedures for routine Division functions.
- Maintain and manage Division leadership's calendar/schedules.
- Receive, screen, and answer telephonic and personal visitors/guests, answering inquiries and making referrals as appropriate.
- Handle classified material and/or matters of confidentiality and sensitivity.
- Produce a variety of other materials in final form from rough drafts, notes, or oral instructions.
- Manage SharePoint portal systems to enable file sharing and collaborative work environments.
- Execute administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, etc.
- Utilize computers, office hardware, and software to perform word processing, generate emails, produce graphics, edit calendars, and manage databases.
- Forecast potential requirements, provide solutions for anticipated problems, and plan and project time for recurring requirements.
- Maintain quality service by developing and implementing organization standards.
- Handle multiple projects - prioritize and arrange work requirements to accomplish goals and ensure work is completed on time and to a high standard.
- Work directly for a senior United States military officer and/or GS equivalent.
- Exhibit punctuality, professional in appearance and demeanor
- Effective and efficient with all communications methods
- Must possess strong organizational skills, and be a proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced military front office environment.
- Responsible for all administrative functions in support of the Division Chief and the Deputy Division Chief (Division leadership) to facilitate the execution of their responsibilities
- Maintain impeccable Division compliance with command and higher headquarters guidance
- Ensure timely Division task responses
- Manage a variety of administrative processes in support of an eclectic set of Joint Planning teams.
Job Requirements
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint).
- Bachelor's Degree is required, however, both education and professional experience will be considered.
- 10 years of relevant experience is required.
- Familiarity with the Joint Planning Process and Combatant Command planning teams
- Strong communication and customer service skills

- Previous experience as a DOD / Military executive officer or senior administrative assistant

Preferred Requirements:
- Experience working at a DOD / Military higher headquarters (i.e. Service, Joint, Combined, or Combatant Command Headquarters)
- Experience supporting Joint Planning Teams
- Intermediate Service or Joint Military Developmental Education

Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000
