Position Summary
The Planned Maintenance (PM) Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Manager and Assistant Manager of Engineered Systems with the planning, maintaining, scheduling and coordinating of preventative maintenance. The PM Coordinator works closely with the Planned Maintenance group, maintenance Zones, and other relevant departments to execute Planned Maintenance plans.
This position will work primarily onsite, Monday-Friday.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Supports the development of and maintains a comprehensive maintenance plan that outlines all scheduled maintenance tasks for equipment, machinery, of facilities.
  • Identifies assets, creates job plans and Planned Maintenance schedules in the CMMS system that include information of the scope of work, safety precautions, required materials and estimated labor hours.
  • Coordinates with zone staff for the delivery of the necessary resources, tools, and materials for scheduled maintenance activities. Makes purchase requests and orders supplies to ensure the correct materials are delivered to the right location at the right time.
  • Maintains accurate records of equipment and asset data, including maintenance history, performance metrics, and maintenance costs. Maintains records and makes misc. updates to documents as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions
Works on campus five (5) days a week and travels among campuses. Will be exposed to office environments, equipment rooms, some roofs when collecting asset information. Some remote work is possible but subject to operational needs and manager approval.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associates degree.
  • Four years of experience in a similar role in a facilities environment.
  • Experience coordinating work and Planned Maintenance.
  • Familiarity with Maximo or CMMS system.
  • Proficiency with variety of computer software and data input.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Highly capable of working independently, with the ability to make decisions ensuring the PM's can be successfully completed with minimal direction from manager.
  • Ability to understand basic building systems/concepts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to communicate with a broad and diverse range of people.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent high school certification.
  • Three years of experience in an administrative or coordination role; r equivalent combination of education and experience.

G08-H
Salary Range
$20.76 - $32.21 / Hourly
The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
