SUPERVISES OTHERS: 30% Administrative 70% Clinical

JOB SUMMARY: Provides medical oversight and direction to promote quality of care and appropriate resource utilization for all precision health services. Provide medical leadership by building a strong dyad relationship with the Vice President of Oncology Services and working collaboratively to produce a high performing Precision Health Service Line that delivers exceptional quality of care. The Medical Director of Precision Health position is comprised of administrative and clinical time and will be required to maintain sufficient clinical time to remain competent in their specialty. The Medical Director is responsible for ensuring the provision of high quality, evidence-based, and patient-centered clinical care. The Medical Director of Precision Health shall lead the growth and expansion and perform such administrative, supervisory, and other services as are determined in the good faith judgment of the COO and or CHMG President, to be reasonable or necessary for the development and operation of the genetics program and population genomics program, and the prudent and efficient delivery of quality patient care through the Precision Health department. The Medical Director shall be responsible for assuring that such services are performed. Reporting to the Medical Director Precision Health Services: • RN • Genetic counselor

QUALIFICATIONS: Required Preferred: Education MD or DO degree MBA, MHA in addition to MD, DO Experience 5+ years in a Medical Director and precision health role or 7+ combined years in precision health as a Physician Administrator, Practice President, Physician Executive or Medical Director roles. 10+ years in a Medical Director or precision health role Licensure/Certification Regulatory Current North Carolina license to practice medicine. Board certified in area of specialty.
