Location and hours:
This position will be on-site at the NorthPoint Health and Wellness Center at 2220 Plymouth Avenue North Minneapolis, MN 55411. This position can be part-time to full-time, working between 30-40 hours per week. Work hours are Monday through Friday, between 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Potential limited evening or weekend hours may be required and may vary based on clinic needs.

In this position, you will:
- Obtain health history, perform physical examinations, and conduct preventive screenings to provide the full-spectrum of primary care services for patients of all ages.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic illness and disease.
- Provide prenatal care services (non-hospital)
- Provide education and preventive services for our patients.
- Make appropriate referrals to other health professionals and community agencies.
- Participate in NorthPoint's quality management program.
- Utilize the electronic health records, Epic.
- Participate in the design, implementation, and evaluation of care programs based on the needs of our population.
- Serve as a resource to other staff and areas of the clinic.
- Guide and direct allied and ancillary personnel.
- Partner with patients and families to optimize their health and wellness.
- Graduation from an accredited school of medicine with a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree and completion of an approved internship and an approved formal Family Medicine residency by applicant's start date.
- A valid license to practice medicine issued by the State of Minnesota.
- Board certification or board eligibility in the appropriate specialty.
- Experience working with interpreters.
- Knowledge of professional medical techniques, procedures, and treatments in a medical specialty; assessment techniques; instructional techniques; diagnostic tests and their interpretation; record and report preparation and maintenance.
- Skill in providing professional medical services and performing research activities.
- Ability to respect, appreciate and promote teamwork among diverse co-workers and patients.
- Ability to provide professional medical services in a medical specialty; perform diagnostic techniques; interpret diagnostic test results; solicit patient medical information; collaborate with appropriate personnel in planning patient care; participate in research activities; instruct ancillary and student personnel; and review records and reports.
