We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our healthcare team. As a Family Medicine Physician, you will provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, from infants to seniors. Your role will involve diagnosing and treating a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses, as well as promoting preventive care and overall wellness. Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough medical evaluations, including physical examinations and medical histories - Diagnose and treat various acute and chronic conditions, such as respiratory infections, diabetes, hypertension, and musculoskeletal disorders - Provide family planning services, including contraceptive counseling and prescribing birth control methods - Administer injections and immunizations - Perform minor surgical procedures, such as suturing and dermatological procedures like dermabrasion - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans - Educate patients on disease prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, and self-care techniques - Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans - Provide psychiatric care, including psychopharmacology for mental health conditions - Conduct research studies related to family medicine or specific medical conditions - Provide specialized care for patients with PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) - Utilize electronic health record systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks) to document patient encounters accurately Qualifications: - Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy - Valid medical license in the state of practice - Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine - Experience in providing comprehensive primary care across all age groups - Proficiency in performing basic life support procedures - Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology for mental health conditions - Familiarity with research methodologies and ability to conduct research studies - Experience in dermatological procedures like dermabrasion is a plus - Ability to perform procedures such as spinal taps and sutures is preferred We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
